No, once you add extensions to your locs, they are no longer considered Sisterlocks. This natural hair style system is about you embracing your hair, not the energy of someone else.
No. Extensions are similar to braids & often times put additional stress & tension on the hair follicles. Extensions tend to slip from the natural hair, & are costly/ time consuming to continuously re-attach. We decline to take on the liability of working with extensions. No exceptions. No, if locs are immature/not settled. Locs started via 2 strand twist method is often times unstable, tend to have a lot of slippage when washing & clients often times are unhappy with the outcome. We believe that starting the locs with a strong foundation via interlocking is the best technique in helping to reduce slippage/frizz & provides a more favorable outcome.

The establishment process is very precise & detailed and can take anywhere from 1-3 days based on the density, length of your hair, and the speed of your loctician. ***Installs are only available during the week Tuesday - Fridays.***

Yes you can, however this can lead to hair breakage and locs with fat/frizzy ends. This type of locking style is outside of the Sisterlocks standard of practice.
Either is ok. If you choose to color your hair prior to your establishment, however a color touch is contraindicated until your locs are settled. Coloring your hair before your locs are settled = slippage.
No. The cost of getting Sisterlocks™ establishments vary from consultant to consultant. Typically there is a starting cost for a minimum length & cost varies based on: density, length & head circumference.
The locking process & time frame varies from texture to texture. The average time for locks to fully settle is anywhere from 6 months to 1 year or more.
In order to maintain the integrity of the locks, retightenings should be done consistently & frequently. The average time between retightenings can be anywhere from 4-6 weeks, depending on pace of hair growth.
As long as the establishment of Sisterlocks™ are done according to the standard sectioning method, you will have the amount of locks appropriate for your density. It is important to maintain a healthy section of hair per lock structure to provide a stable root as the locks grow and mature overtime to prevent breakage or repairs in the future.
We only offer retie services at this time, however there are surrounding salons that charge upwards of an additional $30-$60 for washing services.
We offer simple styles without an additional charge at this time.
ILL care of locs, persistent tardiness, persistent rescheduling of appt, missed appts x 2, mistreatment/abuse of staff, use of counterfeit money, non-payment of a service (payment due before leaving premises), disorderly conduct, adding extensions to locs.
